Fact of the Day More Information As the poster child for production and democracy, Henry Ford has a seemingly clean reputation. In reality, as an anti-Semite Henry Ford was actually a role model to Adolph Hitler. It is said that Ford was as much a propagator of fascism as he was of democracy.
Henry Ford was also known to be able to quote full excerpts of America's schoolmaster: McGuffery's Reader. McGuffery's Reader was a radically protestant (pun intended) grammar school story book that is said to have anti-Semitic undertones.
