Fact of the Day

More Information

Today, the honey we eat may not come from the area in which we live. This has led us to overlook the benefits of a symbiotic relationship between allergies and honey. Eating honey created from the different kinds of pollen one is allergic to helps to severely reduce the symptoms of seasonal allergies in that area.
Use honey to disinfect wounds, to get you vitamins, to help your asthma or stomach ulcer (anti-inflammatory), or to cure a sore throat.
A jar of honey was found in King Tut's tomb. When found, some thousands of years later, the honey was still edible.
