Fact of the Day

More Information

This video game became the first arcade game under the name of Computer Space. Nolan Bushnell and Nutting Associates released the game in 1971. Due to its early release and futuristic movie placement, the arcade casing is 60s-Jetson's-futuristic in design; most remember the angular wood-panel 1970s hardware. Bushnell did not stop here. He soon after designed one of the most recognizable video games the world over, PONG. The success of this game led him to make it the staple of the Atari Corporation. [source]
