Fact of the Day

More Information

With such an imminent demise in aquatic life, now is the time to react. 2048 is as close to the present as 1964. The fish being caught for food running out is not the only concern. Species are becoming extinct and entire ecosystems are going down the drain. What's most scary is the bigger picture. All of the small ecosystems play a part in maintaining the balance of nature itself.
Many peoples rely solely on seafood for survival. It is a crucial part of their ecosystem and without it we will lose human lives just as quick. CNN states that in the United States alone, the ratio is almost 20 pounds of fish, per person, each year and growing.
