Fact of the Day

More Information

Basically particles of light (photons) are used as the password encryption. In order for a hacker to enter he must know the password. In order to know the password, in this case photon, it must be measured. The Heisenberg uncertainty principle concludes that to measure the photon will destroy it. In turn, you know someone has entered a secure network when the photon is destroyed.
Fiber optics would be used to house and transport the photons.
