Fact of the Day

More Information

Corporations such as AT&T, Verizon, Comcast and Time Warner want permission to control what can be viewed and utilized. In essence they wish to be "internet gatekeepers," (savetheinternet.com) having a say in which pages reach you and which pages do not. They may also alter the speeds of certain websites due to their revenue. This virtual dictatorship will eventually choose which content we have access to and which content they choose to restrict. Congress needs to be swayed from allowing the corporations too much power over the Internet. Sign the Petition -- Don't Let Congress Ruin the Internet.
