Fact of the Day More Information The movie was shot at 16 frames per second, and this is also the recommended viewing speed. Cameraman Jonas Mekas did the filming from the 44th floor of the Time-Life Building. Recording started at 8:06PM on July 25th and ceased at 2:42AM the next morning. The Museum of Modern Art's website adds: "Warhol's clear delineation of the individual segments of film can be likened to the serial repetition of images in his silkscreen paintings, which also acknowledge their process and materials."
